Navy and Army veteran with a computer science degree and hands-on experience in firewalls, servers, and vulnerability assessment. I work in IT support and vulnerability scanning for managed clients, and I'm building toward network and systems engineering roles.
I spent six years in the Navy as an Information Systems Technician, maintaining enterprise servers, core network equipment, backups, and secure communications, including deploying five VoIP systems. I then served three years in the Army as a Staff Sergeant, leading a team of six and keeping more than $4M of mission-critical equipment accounted for and maintained.
I finished a B.S. in Computer Science at UTSA in December 2024 and earned Security+, PenTest+, CNVP, and HITRUST CCSFP. Day to day I handle help desk and remote hands support and run vulnerability scans for client environments. Earlier in the role I also maintained servers and a pfSense firewall.
Outside work I run a segmented home network and lab on OPNsense.
An OPNsense firewall on N100 hardware separates Main, IoT, and Lab networks with firewall rules. AdGuard on Ubuntu Server handles network-wide DNS filtering, and Tailscale provides remote access limited to tailnet devices. Switching and Wi-Fi run on a smart switch and a UniFi access point managed through a Cloud Key+.

Help desk and remote hands support, vulnerability assessments for client environments, and support for new server deployments. Earlier in the role: server and pfSense firewall maintenance.
Led a team of 6 operators, ran training and audit programs, and kept mission-critical electronic defense systems valued at over $4M accounted for and maintained.
Kept 84 enterprise servers at 99% uptime across 2 networks, maintained 94 switches, routers, and backbones, and deployed 5 enterprise VoIP systems.
